The Weather Data Extension, or EM W104, is an IoT device that, when used in conjunction with climate sensors, such as the Weather Station, amplifies the possibilities of measuring the following variables: wind speed and direction, temperature, solar radiation, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity and rainfall index.

In its typical application, the climate extender integrates with climate sensors to add intelligence and automation to agribusiness, industry 4.0 and smart city projects.

 

Characteristics

  • Digital connection with LoRa® Endpoints and ITS 4G via I2C
  • Allows connection with the Soil Sensor Measurement Extension module
  • Contains 2 digital inputs and 1 power output for the weather station and barometer
  • Contains 1 analog input for the solar radiation sensor (Pyranometer)
  • The Rain Gauge sensor sends accumulated rainfall data
  • The Anemometer sensor sends wind speed and direction
  • The Thermo-hygrometer sensor sends the temperature and humidity of the environment
  • The Pyranometer sensor sends the level of solar radiation that falls on the location
  • The Barometer sensor sends atmospheric pressure
