Get to know the new UMG 2017 line-up models.
Cost reduction. This is an appealing topic for all businesses, regardless of their size or industry. Through VoIP telephony, businesses have found a great opportunity to reduce their expenses and upgrade their telephony system in a scalable way, meaning having a system that is able to keep up with their growth, without ignoring the features of the existing equipment.
Featuring two new models, besides the renowned UMG 100, Khomp launches its new User Media Gateways lineup. With them, companies can have a dramatic reduction in rates using a VoIP carrier, plus a number of benefits offered by the digital telephony system: call forwarding to any telephone or cell phone, easy expansion of extensions, IVR (Interactive Voice Response), calls between headquarters and branches extensions at zero cost, among many others.
Differentiators per Model
UMG 50 is recommended for small businesses, since it offers low cost and can be purchased with as few as 10 channels, which allows for 10 E1 and VoIP simultaneous calls. As your business grows, UMG 50 will keep up with the demand: with additional licenses, you can extend your capacity to up to 30 simultaneous calls.
UMG Tools: More gateway integration and automation
With the goal to make even more resources available to the UMG lineup, Khomp developed UMG Tools, an Asterisk resource module that enables channel monitoring in the media gateway within Asterisk interface.
Some UMG Tools differentiators: simultaneous management of more than one UMG; ability to read GSM modem signal strength; query of E1 links and active FXS status in the gateway, and many other options.
