Genesys | G-Summit Latam 2018

Astricon 2018
Celebrating 15 years since its first edition, Asterisk World Users Conference is going to be held in Orlando, Florida/USA, from October 9 to 11.
The event is a great opportunity to learn about new practices and approaches based on that open source language used in telecommunications solutions, and is recommended both for developers with more experience and beginners.
The main panels this year address topics such as use of Asterisk in SIP structures, testing and tuning deployments, creating custom applications using the Asterisk RESTful Interface (ARI), use of Docker and Kubernetes with Asterisk, among others.

Futurecom 2018
The largest Information and Communications Technology event in Latin America is going to be held from October 15 to 18, in Sao Paulo/SP.
In the edition that celebrates its 20th anniversary, Futurecom features for the second time the IoT Pavillion (focused on Internet of Things solutions), and a special program on three stages:
- Futuretech: Particularly developed for emerging areas in the Technology Industry. Its first edition is dedicated to 5 large verticals: Cloud, Services, Systems, Transactions and Cybersecurity.
- Networks space: Dedicated to services, integrators and providers of infrastructure and ancillary equipment.
- Futurecom Innovation: Focused on startups, accelerators and the academia. The space offers a council exclusively formed to help startups – mentorship, dynamics, hackathons, search for investors.
The Telco Transformation space is also new, dedicated to carriers and service providers to show how connectivity and new technologies can benefit people, businesses and the society.

In the second half, the Microtik User Meeting is going to be held in Costa Rica (July 20), Honduras (July 23), India (August 10), Thailand (August 14), Russia (September 28 and 29), Spain (October 5), Turkey (October 15), Indonesia (October 19 and 20) and Brazil (November 19 and 20).
Targeted at corporate network engineers, Internet service providers, and businesses with products and services related to the brand, the meeting is an opportunity to understand the industry and MikroTik RouterOS best practices, as well as the new additions to the company portfolio and the new plans for corporate routing applications.
Besides institutional messages, participants will see debates about wireless networks, user authentication and accounting, dynamic routing, network design, bandwidth management and service quality, security, system and network management, among others.
In the Brazilian edition, Khomp will be present with its portfolio of equipment compatible with Mikrotik-based solutions.
