KMG Analytics wins the 2017 Tele.Síntese Innovation in Communication Yearbook Award

Last Monday, September 25th, Khomp was in São Paulo to receive the 2017 Tele.Síntese Innovation in Communication Yearbook Award. Highlighted for the KMG Analytics solution ranked among the top three companies in the Product Supplier category.

It is an honor to have one of our projects in such a prominent position. We thank all the professionals that are part of Khomp and that put the company in this place”, said Thais Castro, the Sales Manager responsible for receiving the award.

The KMG Analytics tool analyzes audio and call signaling to determine its closure – if it was answered by a person, if it was intercepted by a carrier, if it went to voicemail, etc., thus filtering all sorts of unproductive calls.

The solution runs both on Khomp’s hardware and on third-party hardware, and is sold via licensing. “This product was based on a customer survey that demonstrated that a mean of 50% of calls are unproductive, which are those that do not reach their goals”, remarks Marcus Xavier, Khomp’s Technology Director.

The main gains in adopting this solution are in increased productivity, which generates chain results. With the reduction in the idle time of call center agents, it is possible to serve more customers, which as a consequence, generates an increase in revenue. Moreover, dropping unproductive calls reduces the cost of telephone charges, which translates into greater financial return.

The event

The award ceremony marks the launch of the 2017 Tele.Síntese Yearbook, edited by Momento Editorial, and honors innovative companies in five different categories: Communication Services Carriers, Regional Carriers, Product Suppliers, Software and Service Providers, and Application and Content Developers.

We created the award to exalt and recognize innovations in the telecom sector. We are in the sixth edition and we always highlight technologies that are already available to the end user. The goal is to show the innovations that are in use”, says Miriam Aquino, Momento Editorial’s director.

Several authorities and the top executives in the sector attended the ceremony, among which was the Telecommunications Secretary from the Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovation, and Communication of Brazil, André Borges. “Currently, the main challenge in Brazil is to expand digital inclusion and the local companies are responsible for meeting this need. Events like this show that we are going in the right direction”, stated the Secretary.
